 Tahlia Gray is the Founder of Sheer Chemistry, a hosiery brand specialising in tights for women of all shades of brown that empowers women to feel confident and gorgeous in their own skin. Born in Australia of Jamaican heritage, she is passionate about challenging traditional beauty standards and helping women reach their potential. Her journey to tights is one that she describes as organic. Not because she loved tights, but because she was frustrated by the hosiery industry that didn’t cater to her skin tone. As a result, she created a solution. “We are all worthy of being represented and having access to products that are made with us in mind.

No woman should ever feel as if her beauty isn’t valid” she says. Using tights as a tool for empowerment, Sheer Chemistry celebrates the diverse beauty of women of colour and aims to create a more diverse perception of beauty.
