From WQAM in the 60's to WSHE's album rock in the 70's to the new sounds of Country music in the 80's and the advent of great talk radio which would dominate South Florida radio in the 90's, we're taking a TALK down memory lane and reminiscing about the evolution of radio in South Florida over the decades, from its vibrant music scenes to the rise of radio personalities like Rick Shaw and Neil Rogers.

Each era brought its own unique flavor to the airwaves, reflecting the changing tastes and cultural shifts of the times.

From 1949 to 1985, Ralph Renick was THE single most important News Anchor in South Florida. His informed, straightforward style made you feel comfortable, while his signature sign-off, "Good night and may the good news be yours" was a reassuring comment of hope in dark days.
