  • I Swapped My BMW M2 G87 for an MG MG3 – Here’s What I Learned!
    Jun 14 2025

    221. Roberto here! When my BMW M2 G87 had to go in for some TLC at CT Carbon, I expected a courtesy car with a bit of punch. Maybe another M car. Maybe an RS3. Instead... I was handed a basic, manual MG3.

I haven’t driven a manual in over 20 years — and I’ll be honest, I wasn’t expecting much. But what started as a frustrating downgrade quickly became a surprising day of reflection.

In this episode, I review the MG MG3, share what it taught me about the cars we take for granted, and why I ended the day with a whole new appreciation for my BMW — and driving in general.

Whether you're into hot hatches, M cars, or just love the open road, this one’s for you.

    What you’ll hear:

    • My honest experience with the MG3
    • What it reminded me about the joy of driving
    • How it changed the way I view my M2 G87
    • A few thoughts on gratitude and perspective behind the wheel
