John Hammond is one of the premier session drummers in Nashville. He played with literally everybody in the business. He shares a lot of insights about how to be successful as a full-time drummer, and how it works in the session world.
He's an awesome guy and you should go see him play if you get a chance. He's often playing with a band called The Smoking Section.
