Looking back at Season 1 of The Journey, I reflect on how my teenage experiences in the South shaped my approach to relationships and the valuable lessons I learned along the way.

    • Offering a sincere apology to an old friend whose girlfriend I developed feelings for while he was incarcerated
    • Revealing my strategic befriending of Alexa's younger brother through video games to get closer to her
    • Experiencing culture shock at the way white families interacted with each other compared to my upbringing
    • Orchestrating my breakup with Tori by setting up a situation where another guy would kiss her
    • Discovering years later that Tori and I were actually using each other for different reasons all along
    • Explaining why I couldn't graduate with my class despite breaking up with Tori

Thank you all for sticking with me throughout Season 1. Season 2 will be coming soon with more stories and experiences. Spread the word, hit that notification bell, and I'll see you next season.
