  • Summary

  • In this episode we explore Plato's Allegory describing prisoners in a cave and an enlightened prisoner who has seen the light. When faced with the new information provided by the enlightened prisoner, he is ignored and ostracized because of his odd perspective.

A discussion ensues about what is truth and how we become entrenched with our beliefs because they are tucked away in our cave of safety. We are encouraged by Copilot to venture out of that safety zone to explore a new world of possibilities by opening our minds to the idea that we may have yet to learn all that this life has to provide.

We take our conversation to our friend James, who brings a new perspective to the knowledge of absolute truth, to a new level. Redefining truth as a social contract that molds our understanding of reality based on our specific perspective.
