La última parte del manual estudia los profetas llamados menores. Se atiende en esta lección a una visión general de la colección en la que quedaron recogidos (el libro de los Doce) para después, en las siguientes, analizarlos ya individualmente.
El calificativo de menores no les viene por el hecho de ser menos importantes que los profetas anteriormente estudiados, sino por su menor extensión. De hecho, los doce juntos tienen una extensión similar a la del libro de Ezequiel. Además, mientras que cada uno de los mayores estaba escrito en un rollo de pergamino, todos los menores estaban recogidos en otro, el de los Doce Profetas.
