 La corrección o incorrección que se observa en las acciones morales buenas o malas puede expresarse en juicios de mayor o menor universal i idad: esa expresión son las leyes morales. Las leyes morales reflejan el orden intrínseco de la corrección del querer y sentir moralmente bueno. Por eso, a diferencia de otros tipos de leyes, las leyes morales son prácticas, normativas, incondicionadas, naturales e inmutables. Como son leyes del obrar humano, se manifiestan en el conocer, en el querer y en el sentir (hay que evitar por igual el intelectualismo, el voluntarismo y el sentimentalismo). Es posible tentativamente exponer un elenco de leyes morales generales, que la prudencia deberá aplicar.
