 Suor Lucrezia Vizzana, abilissima compositrice, visse nel convento di Santa Cristina della Fondazza a Bologna. Nata nel 1590 e morta nel 1662, è stata l’unica monaca bolognese ad aver pubblicato le sue opere. Nel 1622 una lettera anonima al cardinale Ludovico Ludovisi a Roma denunciò scandali nel convento, rivelando un conflitto interno che provocò lunghe indagini e tensioni tra le suore. Suor Lucrezia Vizzana soffrì per questa situazione tanto da perdere la ragione.
