  • Rebel Republic Episode 023
    Aug 6 2025

Rebel Republic returns with Coach Schuman and me (Steve Cully), while Frank Cristiano is in Italy. We discuss AG Pam Bondi and the DOJ's new investigation into the 2016 election, where Russian collusion allegations, tied to Trump’s friendly ties with Putin, clouded Clinton’s loss. The probe’s outcome remains to be seen. We also cover NYC mayoral candidate Mamdani, who leads polls with Senator Warren’s endorsement, though his bold ideas raise questions about feasibility. Lastly, we’re surprised by Trump’s executive order on college athletics, targeting NIL deals to ensure payments are legitimate—like $50K for commercials—but not boosters paying millions without endorsements. Aimed at protecting sports programs, especially women’s, the order’s enforcement is tricky, and determining a player’s “worth” remains subjective.

  • Rebel Republic Episode 022
    Jul 30 2025

We talk about Trump playing peacemaker in the Thailand and Cambodia violence that broke out, also giving Russia 10 days to withdraw, and a ceasefire with Ukraine. We were horrified watching the shootout in Manhattan, which killed a New Police officer. Then we saw a horrific beatdown of a woman in Cincinnati by five people who were arrested. Most disturbing was that 100 people were there watching, filming with their cell phones, only one person called 911, and nobody intervened to help this woman. It made me sick to watch people immediately take out their phones to film the brutality, instead of stopping the fight, stepping in to protect her. Mamdani wants to defund the police in NYC; shootouts like what we saw in Manhattan will be commonplace without a strong police presence. We also discuss the Texas Legislature meeting incident where a democratic candidate for the 18th district had to be physically removed from the room. He was furious about redistricting because he felt it made no sense, other than to gain more republican support.

  • Rebel Republic Episode 021
    Jul 12 2025

Rebel Republic - The Best and most controversial political talk show in the northeast. With Coach Schuman, Coach Schuman's Football, VOICE OF REASON Frank Cristiano, and Steve Cully discuss the happenings this week according to MSNBC. We had record viewership last episode, especially for a few interesting clips by Frank, which sparked debate, so we go over some of the responses. Dave talks about the illegals who were deported to Sudan because they were criminals, and their country of origin would not accept them back. Attorneys fought that this was cruel and unusual punishment, ignoring a directive by SCOTUS. However, the deportation was merely delayed, and the illegals were sent. Dave's argument was because they were not American citizens, the constitution does not apply to them which angered many people. Frank talked about how people can save more money and told a story about a woman who used an interview at his business just to collect unemployment. We discuss the Epstein files and wonder what in the hell happened there? How did the list disappear? Was there a chance of actual innocence?
