Qui è difficile, salvo indicazioni specifiche, riconoscere risate intese propriamente in quanto tali, ma possiamo sforzarci di riconoscere il profilo ripetitivo, saltellante, gracchiante della risata in vari pezzi che spaziano da Haydn a Paganini, a Liszt, addirittura a Debussy che, strizzando l’occhio, ma senza dire una parola, prende in giro Wagner nel suo Children’s Corner per pianoforte solo.
