About this listen

We are a brother and sister duo who are deeply interested in the scriptures, especially when they say something that sounds odd to our 21st century ears. Strangely Biblical will explore the topics that are glossed over in Sunday morning sermons because we believe they are interesting and important. We don’t always have all the answers, but we are committed to studying. Join us in our journey through the weird world of scripture.Copyright 2024 All rights reserved. Christianity Spirituality

  • Ep. 11 - Genesis 4 & 5 - The Seed of the Serpent
    Apr 14 2025

In Genesis 3:15 we see the first declaration of Yahweh's plan for redemption. We learn of two seeds, one of the serpent and the other of the woman. From the woman will come a Redeemer to crush the serpent's head. Only one chapter later, we see the story of the serpent's seed begin to unfold when Cain kills his own brother. Genesis 5 follows two genealogies, one associated with evil while the other will bring about the Promised Seed to crush the serpent's head.
