 Im Mai 1907 eröffnete das heute größte Binnenstrandbad Europas. Das Strandbad Wannsee war sofort eine Sensation, denn bis dahin war das Freibaden als moralischen Gründen streng untersagt. Was folgte war der Wannsee-Wahnsinn. Millionen Besucher kamen Sommer für Sommer. 1951 schmettert Cornelia Froboess den berühmten Schlager "Pack die Badehose ein" und bis heute ist Wannsee die „Badewanne der Berliner“.
