Part 2, Chapters 5-8. This is not a scary book. But sometimes the unexpected and unfamiliar can feel scary. Vivian shows massive bravery as we continue ready this not scary, but very silly book.

We began reading these wonderful stories as a part of our homeschool curriculum this year. The thought of breaking through the floor was a bit of a scary new concept, but Mercy is silly enough to have redeemed that fear...mostly.

Sometimes it the little books that get you by. This was one of Vivian's highest rated for a long long time. You can hear her excitement as we read it. We have four cats in our house and none of them want to be just looked at, but we do have some in our lives that fall into this category. I hope you have some cats on one side or another in your life.

I'm in love with this girls mind. I've noticed lately during these episodes she is grabbing at anything she sees to incorporate as ideas into the story. "the tomato trolley" blew me away as creative genius. Mia the lego cat makes her second appearance as a star character.

It can be tempting to want to always be the best at everything. In this book we'll join Dog as he learns what it can feel like for others when we ALWAYS want to be the best. Perhaps we each have special bests we bring to the table.

Have you ever been lost? It can be very scary sometimes. Especially if you are small bear in green overalls. Let's see what happens to Corduroy as he makes some questionable choices seeking a birthday present for Lisa.
