    Drew Weaver, who passed away on New Year's Eve 2024, was a unique musician and songwriter. Across more than four decades, he created music that centered around everyday people with stories drawn from his thirst for knowledge. Known as a true musicologist, Weaver built a massive collection of records and songs that he drew inspiration from throughout his musical journey. Drew Weaver recorded with bands such as the Surf Piranhas, the Vibrabeams and the Alvarados, as well as releasing solo records that included members of the Blue Hawaiians and the Mavericks. Jansen Press, who performed and recorded with Weaver, shares memories and stories with host Mark Potter during a special episode of "Stories We Could Tell". This episode features the twelve selections included on CD 2 (of 3) that compiles extra studio recordings, radio edits, live recordings and radio performances released commercially between 1998 and 2001.
