Steve gained 30 Caps for Wales Rugby Union, and played in 4 Test matches for the Lions on the 1977 tour to New Zealand. He scored 152 points for Wales, including 4 tries, 11 conversions and 35 penalty goals. He was a member of the great Wales team that won Five Nations Grand Slams in 1976 and 1978. Also Triple Crowns in 1977 and 1979. And in addition a Championship winner in 75.
