As we celebrate another Christmas on this side of eternity, we want to halt the news in its tracks (since there are never good tidings nor great joy most weeks) and talk about Isaiah, David’s throne, and some of the lighter things that make the holidays joyful. It’s always bittersweet, Christmas – because the chains we have that tie us to this planet mean we suffer hurt, loss and difficulty all through the year. But at the same time that sweet-sour paradigm allows us to rejoice and carry on because on the other side is hope. For those who aren’t drawn into the study of last days, we need to ask ourselves why, because we can’t get to the hope part quite yet. Jesus IS our hope, and while the things of God seem far away at times, He is ever near. He will return. We look at Isaiah 9 which is loaded with familiar Christmas verses, but what are the deeper aspects? Unto us. A Child is born. Children are born every day in the flesh. Oh wait – a Son is given! Humanity, and divinity in one verse. We also talk Christmas carols, full of doctrine; the promise of a Messiah on David’s throne despite a curse in the lineage, and who exactly were those Magi? A fun hour of chat about holiday Spirit and letting God use us however that might look right now.

Mary takes some time today to focus on the end game, geopolitically – and at what point the world runs out of real estate to do a global build-out designed for the final rebellion against Jesus Christ at His coming. The image in Nebuchadnezzar’s dream, the metal man depicting the significant world powers that will succeed each other from Babylon to Rome, is one of the greatest, most astonishing prophecies the world has ever been privy to. The end of the matter tells us that in the days of those Roman Empire kings, the toes of the image, the revived Roman Empire – God will set up His everlasting kingdom. As joyous as that is to think about, the process involves going from Satan’s kingdom of man that has ruled for millennia, to the righteous Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is often depicted as the birth process, birth pangs – that increase in frequency and intensity. It also can be summed up this way: “expect turbulence”, and you frequent flyers will understand that. We look at how Satan even got this world as a prize, how he fell, why he was able to offer it to Jesus – and maybe why he has saved his most awful bag of tricks for this late hour. We also look at the importance of Genesis in interpreting Revelation. Most churches don’t pay any heed to their connection, but it is incredible to see all the events that begin in Genesis having their fulfillment in Revelation. As we are on the verge of a new year, let’s be found watching and waiting, and building up our knowledge and understanding of why things are the way they are.

Since 2020, we’re pretty much just holding our collective breath, expectations being at historic lows. If I were a youth today, and if I did not have Jesus in my life, I would wonder who what and how this world got so irrevocably messed up. it’s tempting to find someone to blame, but Bible prophecy clearly tells us that this is exactly what we can expect. Nevertheless, with the knowledge of Jesus comes the knowledge of the tension between futility and hope. It’s always difficult to look at current events and come away hopeful, but that is exactly what should happen if we are focused on the Kingdom to come. We talk about 6G with David, the surveillance state, Israel, social credit scores, and much more. What will 2026 look like? We have no idea really, because the devil is in the details, yes – but God is in the big picture. Hopefully, excitement about the wrapping up of all things is contagious.

Mary welcomes back Creationist Russ Miller to talk about the season of time we are in, which altogether looks like an end game in so many ways. Sometimes we think that the world remained somewhat static in culture and innovation until the 1800s, at which time there was an explosion of change in the 20th century. That’s not wrong, because the pace and scale of global transformation has accelerated in dramatic fashion, particularly with the Industrial and Scientific Revolutions. We also think in the church that evolution is the only thing we can think of that has continually warred against a biblical worldview. But the explosion of philosophies and religious movements have also played a huge role. We talk briefly about what those movements were and are, and then zero in on evolution in particular as the bearer of the most rotten fruit we can imagine over several categories: education, morals, socialism and Marxism, and science probably above all. An hour of dot-connecting with a highly knowledgeable creation apologist whose many Grand Staircase tours, conference sessions and church and college messages have helped to educate and build up the Christian church about the lies of old earth/evolutionary theory.

Stop it!” The average American does struggle with the lawlessness we witness in bundles sometimes, but we feel completely helpless to do anything about it. We look at why the evil is so ramped up. We also take a look at Europe and it’s unbelievable, unrelenting pursuit of a surveillance state. It makes us all wonder who exactly gave who permission to look at every chat and text their citizens send. Also, we have to examine the underpinnings of the Australian Hanukkah rampage and discuss what Hanukkah actually is. The signs were all there, but just like October 7, there wasn’t enough time or energy to take any of it seriously. How dark will it get before the True Light returns for His people?

This is a murky subject, because the church has existed for over 2000 years and never once said to itself, “gee we need technology to carry out our mission in the world.” And it will always be so, because worship, discipleship, study and fellowship do not need any additives or preservatives. Yet here we are, ethically working through this thing that the whole world is coming under, as if on cue. The Bible, interestingly enough, only mentions the end game of it, we are in real time seeing its genesis. How can the prophecy student not be on the edge of their seats over this fulfillment in real time? We talk about the issues at hand that the church, which is not to be conformed to this world, had better take seriously in order to be truly effective and rely on our true source of power, the Holy Spirit.
