As a coach, he’s led his alma mater to a Sloane Team Sportsmanship Award, 3 Ivy League Championships, and the first 2 National Championships in Penn Squash history.


As a player, Jackson Bragman won Liberty League Rookie of the week once for Denison University (He will not be a 4 time All-American).


As a broadcaster, he’s interviewed a countless amount of the world’s best squash players, coaches, and characters.


Together, they host the world’s number 1 college squash focused podcast: Squash University.

    Welcome to a brand new edition of Squash University!

    Jackson and Gilly kick off this week’s episode with Tufts University Head Coach, friend of the program, and Gilly’s college teammate at UPenn over 15 years ago, Joe Raho. Coach Joe names his All-Gilly Lane-NBA Team, listing the 5 pro basketball players that best personify Gilly as a squash player and coach (2:06).

    Then, the boys welcome on another friend of the show, and 4-Time College Squash Association All-American, Matias Knudsen. Fresh off his huge upset win over World #19 Greg Lobban at the PSA World Championships in Chicago last weekend, Matias talks to Gilly and Jackson about how he qualified for the World Champs this year and made the most out of his opportunity (12:47).

  • All-American Reactions & World Champs Preview With Timmy Brownell & Simon Herbert

    Welcome to a brand new edition of Squash University!

    Gilly and Jackson begin today’s show by discussing the first full day of the Papal Conclave from the Vatican City before diving into a preview of the 2025 Professional Squash Association World Championships, the biggest event on the pro squash calendar, kicking off this week in Chicago, Illinois (0:16).

    They also react to the release of the 2024-2025 College Squash Association All-American selections and chew over who would win in a fight to the death: 100 (average) men or 1 silverback gorilla (35:32).

    Then, friends of the program Timmy Brownell and Simon Herbert join the show to break down the draws for the World Champs and share how they’ve each been preparing for the event (50:17).

    Simon plays former World #1 and 2016 World Champion Karim Abdel Gawad in the first round in Chicago this Saturday at 5:30 pm EDT, and Timmy takes on his fellow American Shahjahan Khan in the opening round on Saturday at 8:30 pm EDT.
