On this month's segment of "Speak Up for a Species" here on A Walk on the Wild Side, we are highlighting the sea otter (Enhydra lutris) in honor of Sea Otter Awareness Week.  Listen in as host Kyle Kansman, 4th-year veterinary student at Michigan State University, talks all about the sea otter and discusses big threats and diseases against their population.  Throughout the episode, there are also questions for you to test your knowledge to see if you are otterly the best at sea otter trivia. 
This episode is dedicated to a special sea otter, Tazlina, who was rescued by the Alaska Sealife Center as a pup in 2019 and now calls the Vancouver Aquarium her home.
