    This week, we discuss the medicinal uses of two interesting plants. This first is Canada Moonseed, which is toxic plant that may be mistaken for wild grape, but does have some medicinal use. My version is based on several of the older blues and hokum versions of the song from the 1920s, but I like the Flatt and Scruggs version too, so I blended in several influences. I play it in the key of C, which is standard for the early blues versions. It follows the cycle of 5ths, but with a eat little twist that keeps it moving at a fun pace.
