 Apartheid refers to the institutionalized racial segregation in South Africa from 1948-1990s. Although Christianity is the dominant religion, in 2001 a Human Rights Conference in Durban South Africa named Israel as an apartheid state and thus launched today’s antisemitic BDS movement.
