About this listen
Sometimes we are led by God along longer paths. And the first moment we think is: my God, why is this in my life? Because I'm not taken by a shorter route, by a route that gets me there quickly. The shortest path is not always the best path, as the feeling is of just arriving and receiving the crown of victory, but there is no learning and character transformation. God does not always take us by the shortest path, as the Eternal's desire is to change our character to be like Christ Jesus. We don't know the reason, not even reason will tell us why He does this, but He doesn't lose control of our lives, because, by Him, we are protected. Thus, God does not take us by the shortest path, but by the best path. Sometimes, the longest path is precisely the one that best prepares us for our destination. It can be difficult to understand the "why" when we are in the midst of a challenging journey, but these experiences shape our character, making us stronger and wiser. True transformations don't happen overnight, and the process, however painful it may seem, has a greater purpose. And trusting that God is in control, guiding us along the best path, brings comfort and hope.
