Today we will be discussing the divinely inspired books of Hebrews, and James. The book of Hebrews focuses on the centrality of scripture for the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. It mentions key ideas in the Christian doctrine : true fulfillment in Christ, the centrality of God, and leaders in the faith. Addressing main ideas, Hebrews speaks about how Jesus is superior to angelic beings and superior to the Mosaic Law. Hebrews also speaks on a call to faith and endurance and concluding encouragements and remarks. Moving right along the book of James was a letter written by the brother of Jesus . It speaks on Pastoral care, Faith, and Obedience. Addressing the main ideas, James speaks about the testing of faith, hearing and doing the word, the sin of favoritism, how faith without works is dead, the sin of dissension in the community, sins of the wealthy, the prayer of faith and concludes with admonition.
