Equine Genetics is probably a topic I nerd out about the most when it comes to talking about horses and the industry! So on today's episode, I am thrilled to share with you my incredible conversation with Christa Lafayette and two members of her team at Etalon to talk about all things genetics and more!

There is so much more knowledge we can gain from looking at our horses' genetic makeup to help us become better owners, trainers, and breeders and ensure the sustainability and growth of the equine industry! Equine Genetics can tell us so much more than just how to determine what color a foal might be, it can give us more insights into what traits we should continue to pass along, which ones to watch carefully that we aren't passing on too many genetic abnormalities, and seeing the potential a horse can have in a certain discipline or in others.

This information can do so much for the industry and really revolutionize how we see breeding and the equine industry for the future! We talk about this and more in the episode and i can't wait for y'all to hear it!
