In Snap Snap's first episode, we take the case of a culture that takes snapping too seriously i.e. slam poetry. A form of performance poetry that emerged recently, slam poetry seems to have acquired the tags of 'elitist' or 'pretentious'. So, here we dissect this criticism and understand what poetry's flaws (and slam poetry in particular) might have been since the past. Interludes- there are two satirical poems, first on how poets might end up 'appropriating oppression', and the other on poems being 'too deep'.
