  • Master Of Deceit - South Salt Lake, Utah
    Jan 3 2026

This week, in South Salt Lake, Utah, what seems like a simple missing person investigation turns deadly serious, when a pair of legs is discovered in a dumpster, behind a local grocery store. Detectives then dig up the yard of a friend of the victim, and find even more body parts. It turns out that this "friend" is not only trying to steal the victim's identity, but his wife went missing 11 years, to the day of the dismembered victim. And police think there's many, many more!

Along the way, we find out that if you just paint murals on an old warehouse, you can call it a festival, that you probably shouldn't be the last person seen with your murder victim, and that you never know who is a serial killer, posing as a friend to play chess with!!

I've been listening for years and they never fail to make a murder somehow hilariously entertaining. I gave up on typical true crime, and there's no going back, after listening to these two guys tell the truly horrific & disgusting details of terrible crimes all interspersed with clever & witty comedy. I can't explain why it works - it just does.

Finally I can review this podcast!

The true crime story has me hooked till the end. I look forward to it every Friday!

Loving this. I listen to the new ones each week and I'm working my way back through the catalogue, and I've yet to lose interest. Fascinating, disturbing and hilarious. What a combo. 10/10 recommend 👍
