Katie, Bridget, and special guest/writer/director/producer/prop master Chris Messineo close their eyes and squeeze real hard as they re-watch the movie: The Strange Dark! Which, if you didn't piece it together already, was created by Chris himself! Come along as we meet Susan, the best actress by the end of the movie, who has to decide whether to trust her husband Edgar or instead trust the scary agents who showed up to her door and are menacing. But trusting Edgar isn't so easy, since he reveals he's stolen data that can help him see the future because of sci-fi exposition and reverse DejaVu - which is actually a real thing guys we swear! When Edgar predicts how the night will end, our characters end up getting tangled up in Lord of the Rings references, witty banter, and some wild prop effects that leave you wanting to rewatch the movie for all the Easter eggs and clues! We also get to hear all the inside scoop about what it takes to make a movie, how sometimes the location for the movie hasn't had their electric bill paid in years (oops), and how important intimacy coordinators are. Chris did the damn thing and he deserves all the hype! Released in 2024, the movie was written and directed by Chris Messineo and stars Nili Bassman, Caleb Scott, Carmen Borla, Bates Wilder, John Beckwith, Carson Jean Holley, and Athan Sporek.

Katie and Bridget go look for a dead body in the woods as they re-watch the iconic and nostalgic movie: Stand By Me! Despite what Bridget thinks - we have yet to review this one! Come along as we follow four 12 year old friends who go on an impulsive journey to find the dead body of a missing boy. We've got Gordie, a depressed future writer who will shoot you with a gun if you mess with his friends; Chris, everyone's favorite confidence fairy and personal cheerleader who SHOULD HAVE LIVED DAMMIT; Teddy, a guy who should have watched Degrassi (season 2 - episode 2) and LEARNED SOMETHING from it; and Vern, who's just... Well, Vern! They have to deal with leeches, scary Kiefer Sutherlands, and emotional confessions all within this heartfelt movie that will make you think about the friends you had when you were 12, as well as think about where all the treehouses went. Seriously, let's bring back treehouses! Released in 1986, it was based off of the Stephen King novella "The Body" and stars Wil Wheaton, River Phoenix, Corey Feldman, Jerry O'Connell, and Kiefer Sutherland.

Katie and Bridget figure out what their Spice Girl names would be as they re-watch the movie: Spice World! OY! Come along as we follow the Spice Girls along lots of random side quests that don't really follow a plot! We've got the whole gang here (Scary Spice, Baby Spice, Sporty Spice, Ginger Spice, and Posh Spice) as they basically don't act and just hang out in front of a camera with random things happening. You want to hear them sing some iconic songs? You can! You want to see them do synchronized dances? You can! You want to watch them hang out on a bus and do silly cut aways most likely without a real movie script? YOU CAN! All wrapped into this clearly cash grab but also an honestly really fun time that you don't really need to pay full attention to. Just know that Posh Spice somehow is the funniest of them all! Released in 1997, it stars the Spice Girls along with other notable actors including Alan Cumming, Richard E. Grant, Elton John, Meat Loaf, Claire Rushbrook, and Naoko Mori.

Katie and Bridget sing very loudly and do choreography as they re-watch the Broadway Musical adaptation: Annie! It might have one of the weirdest political messaging of all time, but god damn it do the songs just slap! Come along as we meet Annie, a little orphan with a bad wig and a dream, hoping to escape the orphanage and find her real parents - all while loudly singing about it while everyone's trying to sleep. But when Annie gets adopted (only for a week as a PR stunt LOL) by the rich Daddy Warbucks - real name - she gets to experience what being rich is really about. All while the rest of her friends still at the orphanage with the drunk Miss Hannigan continue to have to do chores and get abused! When Daddy Warbucks offers a reward for Annie's real parents to come forth, the real evil greed of money is shown and Annie almost falls off a building or something. But it's fine because money solves everything and so does SINGING! YAY! We've got hardcore Republican messaging (HELP), gin baths, and banger songs all in this really entertaining movie musical. Released in 1982, it stars Aileen Quinn, Albert Finney, Carol Burnett, Ann Reinking, Tim Curry, and Bernadette Peters.

Katie and Bridget dress up as Scuba Steve as they re-watch the surprisingly heartwarming movie: Big Daddy! Come along as we meet Sonny, a 32 year old man-child, who pseudo adopts and/or kidnaps his roommate's illegitimate child who shows up at their apartment one day. When Sonny and the kid Julian - aka Fwankenstein - start to bond, Sonny discovers what it truly means to be a dad and how gentle parenting may not be the best method. Seriously nobody wants to have raised the "smelly kid"! This movie has us asking the deep questions such as: Should all parents dress up as their kids favorite toy to get them to listen to them? Did Adam Sandler invent the Montessori method? What ever happened to all the weird children's programming that used to exist - like Julian's kangaroo video!? All this and more in this very 90's and very Adam Sandler movie. Released in 1999, it stars Adam Sandler, Joey Lauren Adams, Cole and Dylan Sprouse, Jon Stewart, Leslie Mann, and Josh Mostel.

Katie and Bridget KRANK IT UP as they re-watch the movie: Christmas with the Kranks! Come along as we meet Luther and Nora Krank, a couple who says goodbye to their daughter before Christmas time (girls in the Peace Core... Allegedly...) and they become severely depressed. But as anyone from Jersey knows, the one cure to fixing the holiday blues involves three simple things: tanning, Botox, and cruises! When the Kranks decide to skip out on Christmas the movie becomes a horror movie, and nightmare induced bullying ensues! At least up until their daughter announces she's coming home for Christmas last minute - and possibly getting married!? - then they pivot and slap that Krank button to get the holiday spirit back in swing at their house. We've got Christmas sweater vests, early 2000's references, and a big old bob-cut all wrapped up in this tonally confusing Christmas movie! Released in 2004, it stars Tim Allen, Jamie Lee Curtis, Dan Aykroyd, M. Emmet Walsh, Elizabeth Franz, and Erik Per Sullivan.

Katie and Bridget rent a room in a shoe as they re-watch their family's (for some reason) nostalgic Christmas movie: March of the Wooden Soldiers! If you haven't taken an edible already - BUCKLE UP! Come along as we go to Toy Land and meet all of the classic Nursey Rhyme characters. There's Mother Goose and her literal live goose wearing a bow; Little Bo Peep, who everyone in town wants to make their child bride; Tom Tom, who's apparently NOT Peter Pan and is instead the Pied Piper(!?); The Three Little Pigs who WILL give you nightmares; and the rest of the nightmare infused characters! But most importantly we have Stannie Dum and Ollie Dee, the two best friends that anybody could have who help save the day! We've got a demonic knock-off Mickey Mouse, funny physical comedy, and endless questions all wrapped up into this strange movie that we all simultaneously forgot existed until we put it on to watch! Released in 1934, it was originally titled "Babes in Toyland" and stars Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy.
