About this listen

Shutters Full Podcast where creativity, calling, and good conversation collide.

A collaboration between Brittany Allison of Measurably More Media, and Alisa Thayne of Thayne Media, Shutters Full was born out of a desire to create space for storytellers, dreamers, and doers to share the real, raw, and light-filled stories of what it looks like to chase passion, take risks, and live a FULL life.

The name? A playful nod to Cousin Eddie (because who doesn’t love a little nostalgic humor 😆), but also a reflection of our roots as photographers, and a reminder that a shutter lets the light in. Just like how God works through our lives, shining His light through every open door, every creative risk, and every bold yes to what we’re called to do.

We’re here to share stories that bring a little more light into the world.

This isn’t your average podcast..it’s inspiring, uplifting, sometimes hilarious, and always full of heart.

Episode 5: The Power of Style with Pauline Joseph

In Episode 5 of Shutter’s Full Podcast, hosts Alisa and Brittany welcome the radiant and wildly talented Pauline Joseph—an Australia-born stylist to the stars whose chair has become as much a sanctuary as it is a place for beauty. Known for her ability to elevate wardrobes, faces, and spirits, Pauline brings a refreshing blend of honesty, humor, and heartfelt wisdom to an episode packed with transformative insights.

From the moment she joins the conversation, Pauline dives into the art of styling and makeup, sharing how she built her career and what inspires her approach to helping others look—and truly feel—their best. Though she works with celebrities, Pauline reminds listeners that great style isn’t about chasing trends; it’s about expressing who you are. Her years of experience have shown her that when someone sits in her chair, they’re often seeking more than a new look. They’re seeking permission to feel beautiful, confident, and worthy. As she jokes, she may be a stylist on paper, but in reality, she’s part therapist, part cheerleader, and part magician.

Throughout the episode, Pauline offers beauty and grooming tips accessible to everyone, from subtle enhancements to bold transformations. She explains the psychology behind feeling polished, the quiet power of choosing an outfit that reflects your mood, and why both men and women benefit from investing in the rituals that make them feel grounded and confident.

Alisa and Brittany also explore the deeper themes behind Pauline’s work—inner beauty, self-acceptance, and the courage it takes to embrace your own reflection. Pauline leaves listeners with one unforgettable message: it’s safe to feel beautiful, and everyone deserves to be reminded of that truth.

Tune in for encouragement, laughter, and practical beauty wisdom you’ll want to replay again and again.
