  • Sheleads Episode 16 Mindset Mastery
    Jan 1 2023

Why is it important to master your mindset as a woman in tech?

Despite decades of progress toward equality in the tech industry women continue to remain underrepresented in the tech industry.

The stats are driven by a lack of visibility to career prospects, role models, and early engagement of girls in STEM subjects. Of the 20% of women who make it into the tech industry only 5% are able to progress into leadership. It is clear from the prevalent research and statistics that progressing as a woman in the tech industry can be a challenging uphill climb where only the strong survive! Grit and determination, while good qualities to possess, are in themselves not enough to equip women with the tools needed to thrive and overcome career-defining challenges.

In this webinar, Mimika Cooney Founder of "Unstick Your Mind" mindset mastery method introduces strategies to unlock the mindset of a champion and the power of leveraged thinking by becoming the boss of your brain. Mimika is a Certified John Maxwell DISC Behavioral Analysis Coach and Consultant and is equipped with advanced training in behavioural analysis, as well as training in positive psychology.
