  • 64. Katja Takala on Endurance & Building Something Meaningful
    Apr 15 2026

I’m really happy to welcome Katja Takala to the podcast: a mum, ultra-runner, Ironwoman, and entrepreneur. Growing up in Finland, being active outdoors was simply a way of life, and running has been part of hers since childhood. We talk about how that relationship with running has evolved through different life stages, and how it also was the foundation for building her business, Stolt Running. We dive into the importance of stepping back and looking at the bigger picture, being intentional with what we do and how we live. From training when we can to navigating social media in a world of content fatigue, to staying competitive with ourselves, to expanding the running space beyond just products..Katja is helping to shape the future of the sport both as an athlete and an entrepreneur, creating more opportunities for others to take part in meaningful ways and I can’t wait for you to hear her insights.

  • 63: Gemma Hillier-Moses on Chianti Ultra Trail, Perspective & Backing Yourself
    Apr 1 2026

I’m really excited to be joined by Gemma Hillier-Moses for this new episode. She is a pro ultra runner from the UK who’s made an incredible rise in just three years of trail running. We caught up right after her longest race yet at Chianti Ultra Trail, racing alongside some of the best women trail runners in the world.

We discuss her journey, and the perspective and life changes that came from facing an aggressive cancer at 24 years old. We deep dive into what followed in terms of career, projects and sport, with at the core her passion for the outdoors and helping others. Also the way she talks about backing herself and trusting what feels right at different stages of life really stuck with me.. Hope you enjoy the episode!
