The Respect for Marriage Act does not respect any form of marriage. It does not even mention interracial or homosexual marriage, the stated purpose of the bill. Instead of a moral or righteous cause, the Bill only extends the power of the IRS and allows for the political persecution of organizations, institutions, and individuals that defy Leftist ideology.

While Republican pundits and commentators lament the 2022 election results, they ignore the critical application of the 1948 Presidential campaign. The Makin decision returned the original understanding of the doctrine, distorted by the secular Klansmen judicial activist, Hugo Black, in 1947. But where did this doctrine originate, and how was it understood before the disastrous Everson decision?

Democrat politicians claim that Republicans being elected would elevate white supremacy and stoke a civil war.
