  • Will Pascal Siakam fit the Pacers next Window? + Was Myles Turner the LEAST important Pacers Starter?
    Jul 9 2025

Alex Golden and Mike Facci answer the final portion of the July Mailbag. Thank you for your questions, and we apologize for those of you who sent questions that we did not directly respond to. With a lot taking place the past few days after asking for questions, some of these questions were outdated and we had to cut some from our discussion.

    1). Casey Johnson

On a scale of 1-10 how gracefully do you think Pascal's game will age? I see a lot of people thinking he won't fit the "next window," but with less basketball on his body than most at his age and the fact that he already plays a bit of an old man game in the post (which is a compliment), I feel like his talent has a pretty long tail on it relatively.

    2). Randy

Will the Pacers extend Mathurin now that Myles has left?

    3). Christopher

Was Myles the least important starter on our team?

    4). Douglas

Could we get Ben Simmons? League min or vet exception? 1 yr deal just to see or Isaiah Thomas has been floating around different leagues. Curious

    5). Epic Slay

How do you feel about us giving a 1st when we signed Brogdon and now getting nothing when they signed Turner? Does it feel like the Bucks really took advantage of us both times?

    6). MVPacer

No matter what, the way we play will change. Whether it’s IJAX, Richards, or Bradley. Our scheme will be very different. Also with Mathurin starting and Nembhard at Point, same thing. How do you think this changes our play style?
