“Wives, submit to your husbands” is an often quoted and sometimes misunderstood verse in the Bible. In this episode, we unpack what biblical submission actually is and how it ultimately reflects the relationship between The Father, Christ, and the Church. One of us shares what she’s learning as a single woman preparing for marriage, and the other shares what it looks like to live it out as a wife. Together, we talk about how submission is about function, not value, and how both husbands and wives are called to sacrificially love one another as Christ loves the Church.
