• The Seven Last Statements of I Am that I AM-The Way to Finish
    May 10 2025

    Send us a text

In this episode of Seed in the Closet, we are focusing on John 10:10, the sixth I am saying, which Jesus States, “I am the way, the truth, and the Life,” and John 19:30, the sixth Saying of Jesus on the Cross, which is “It is finished”.

Jesus—the way is the truth to Life. Jesus finished what began in the Garden of Eden; by the exodus from Egypt, through the wilderness, to the promised land. He is the capstone, the author and finisher of our faith. He is The Way to finish.

Welcome to episode 5 of the Seven Last Sayings of I AM That I AM. In this episode, we’ll discuss Jesus’ fifth saying on the cross and His fifth I AM statement.

Jesus' fifth statement on the cross is found in John 19:28, reads, “After this, Jesus, knowing that all things had already been accomplished to fulfill the Scripture, said, 'I am thirsty.'” This is also recorded in Matthew 27:34 and Mark 15:23. Jesus' fifth I AM statement in John 11:25 “I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies.”

Life springs within us through Jesus’ resurrection power; let Him revive the dead and sustain them with living water, for He is the “Resurrection for the thirsty.”

  • Worship in the Spirit

You worship Him in spirit and truth. You worship Him from a place of the truth. You worship Him from your heart. You worship Him in everything that you do. And you worship Him from a knowledge of who He really is. And who He really is is someone who would not leave any of his kids just out there.

When we lay it all at Jesus’ feet as a form of worship, right your alabaster box that you're laying at Jesus’ feet, all this brokenness, all this hurt, and we can come up as true worshipers, Lord I'm gonna worship you and when you pull me into whatever relationship that you would have me to be I'm going to represent you in that relationship, and that means you don't compromise you know you don't give in you don't do all the things that you would necessarily you know that that wouldn't tarnish HIS representation

Do you ever feel condemned because you are divorced or because of how many exes you have? Today, we find ourselves in John 4:18, 29, with Jesus and the woman at the well. She had five husbands and a beau-thang, and then she met the one at the well who made her well. What did Jesus say in particular? Did He let her know that He knew everything about her? Just because she had five husbands and the one she was with was not her husband, did He know everything about her?

This episode will close out season one, and we will begin a new season.
