About this listen
Parents are one of the many members required in the process of developing Individualized Education Plans (IEP). To help explore the parent seat at the table I am speaking with two phenomenal mothers who have had several seats at several tables as champions for their children throughout the special education process all the way to graduation. We speak about their journey to the IEP table by discussing the initial referral process, their first IEP meeting, how they settled into those seats over the course of the annual IEP process, and life after the IEP table.
