About this listen

Welcome to the Inner Light Podcast, where we hope to shed light on the lesser-known aspects of our favourite Beatle George Harrison, and delve into everything from his music to his extraordinary life.

In today's episode we will spicing up our Deep Dive formula to cater to the album that never was.

George Harrison’s ‘Somewhere In England’ was never intended to be the album we received and was one that George was proud of.

Playing with old and new friends, reconnecting with his faith and spiritual awareness as well as his new found fatherhood it provided him a fresh slate for creating music much like his self titled album that predates the year before.

Ultimately, this album was rejected by Warner to be reworked but in this episode we pay homage to what was dropped, what was added and all the ‘what if’s’ in between.

We hope you enjoy!
