The Sarah Sadness Series explores the challenges of a young girl who does not fit into any social mold yet is confident in who she is. She struggles with the emotions and feelings that come with being different. Yet, she likes who she is.

Sarah is a lovely, talented, and artistic young lady who prefers her solitude over the company of others. Some may think she is unusual, but really, she is a kind, empathetic and sweet girl who is just herself. She likes to spend all her spare time in her treehouse, at one with nature and her dog while listening to music on her iPhone as she draws with the birds, and squirrels nearby.

Sarah lives inside herself and is reclusive. She thinks a lot and feels sad most of the time. While she tries to understand her sadness, her imagination thrives with creative flare, a riddle for which she has no answer.

Sarah is beginning to come of age as she faces even more complex emotions and budding hormones. But her interests and seclusive tendencies do not change. And neither does her sadness.

    ABOUT DAISY FRENCH

    Hi! I’m Daisy, an American creator and content writer living in Madrid, Spain with my husband, daughter, 2 cats named JackieClover and Cheesey & a dog named Joselita. I fell into podcasting when my daughter Malkah and I started recording stories together just for kicks. We’d invent wacky characters and develop storylines around them that we would share at bedtime and help her relax and fall asleep. Because she was so young at the time, I’d lead the stories with morals and lessons that she could learn from. And voila! No screentime or device necessary! It was pure, power of imagination! Now, she’s turning 12 and creating characters and stories of her own – a mini creator in the making!

    My husband Luis is also coming up with some characters of his own. Even our three fury critters – Boss Kitty, Jackie Clover the Siamese and Joselita the Pomeranian play roles. Our family of characters are lining up fast!
