About this listen

Swachh Bharat Mission - India has been declared an Open Defecation Free Country on 2nd October 2019. Really?

Tonight our host, Anshul takes the issue of Public Sanitation, Public Toilets, and Menstruation as a taboo with Farheen Naaz, a menstrual educator, and Ashna Avasthi, Advocate. The Flying Dog has recently approached the Government seeking to improve the state of Public Toilets in Delhi by seeking to mandate provisions for basics such as water, ventilation, and security. With the women' public toilets locked, here is a peek into how India has suffered on account of poor sanitation standards and absolute lack of attention towards menstruation being experienced by half of the country.

This is a FlyingDog Original.
