Five years after a world-breaking calamity, resistance members Echo, Octavia, and Grico receive a mission from their leader Lucien to travel east and investigate whether the former cities of Valyria, Tinkerton, and Fishervale still exist. The party travels through secret mountain paths on their various mounts, encountering the transformed landscape of floating islands.
Their journey is interrupted by an attack from two mutated feral predators with venomous capabilities. After a dangerous combat where Octavia is poisoned, the party defeats the creatures and makes camp to recover.
