About this listen

In this episode, listen to 3 original monologues inspired by the theme 'spotlight,' recorded live at our first-ever live show, Tiny Theatre, at Soho House Amsterdam. Hosted by Daniella Down and Sirah Erens.

Each monologue takes you on a different journey. There’s the darkly funny one from beyond the grave about his untimely death that took the spotlight in the papers. There's the one about a young man's search for identity — amidst a Pride parade that gets hijacked by Climate Activists. And there's the tragically hilarious one about one woman's speech at her parents-in-law's 40th wedding anniversary that puts her in the spotlight in a way she did not expect!

Monologues

1. Chicken Bone — Written and performed by Chauncey Meeks-Owens

2. The Boy Became A Submarine – Written by Kieran O'Flaherty and performed by Pim van Amerongen

3. Happy Anniversary — Written and performed by Sara Visser
