Gary and Phoebe are heading north to Liverpool to visit Phoebe’s Gran, to break the news to her about their engagement and also that they are expecting a baby together. In the 90s Ron is intrigued about Gary’s Liverpool trip, and tells Gary that it was around this time back in 1942, that his Grandad became a hero for saving a child from a fire. Will Gary come face to face with Ron’s Grandad, and will he really be the hero that Ron idolises so much?
