About this listen

Restart Africa is a charity based in the beautiful Nakuru county in Kenya, The charity rescues some of the worst children's cases, rehome and look after them at there centre. The charity was started in 2007 by Mary Coulson MBE who couldn't bare to see the effects of the civil war in that same year hence opening a small shack in town starting with six boys and no money. Fast forward over 15 years the charity now has its official centre with boarding houses, offices, classrooms, kitchens, gardens and much more! Currently looking after over 100 children.
