About this listen

[SPOILERS] We open with a blast from the past by visiting Wilhelmina before she was a fortuneteller for Signor Romanzo's traveling carnival. As a lowly orphan at Vanderlyle Asylum, she meets and befriends eventual murder victim, Clara Willoughby during a Thanksgiving donation drop-off. The girls bond over their mutual love for the beach. Back in the narrative present, Wilhelmina pays a visit to the Willoughby residence, where she learns from a reporter that her friend was stabbed to death. Meanwhile, at present-day Vanderlyle Asylum, Lysander Day-Avett, a home renovations TV host, endeavours to make an offer on the crumbling edifice.
