Mariette Manktelow is a scientist involved in the field of tropical botany and a specialist on the Linnaean cultural heritage in Sweden and other countries. She has a unique knowledge of Linnaeus' teaching methods and the extant living flowers from his garden. She has a university award in teaching skills and She was the project leader at the Municipality of Uppsala during the Linnaeus Tercentenary in 2007.
