Summary

In this episode of State of the Republic, we break down Sacramento Republic FC’s 4–0 win over Spokane Velocity FC in their opening match of the 2026 USL Cup campaign. Sacramento started the tournament in style, and we break down the big moments from the match and what stood out in the performance.

We also talk about the debut goal from new Republic loanee Tyler Wolff, who scored his first goal for the club within his first 10 minutes after arriving on loan from Real Salt Lake. A dream start for the new signing, and we discuss what he could bring to the squad this season.

Plus, we preview Sacramento’s upcoming USL Championship matchup against Orange County SC, and Riyan shares which FIFA World Cup 2026 matches he’s attending, what he paid for tickets, and how those prices compare to today’s resale market on SeatGeek.
