الإجهاض حالة مجتمعيّة، أبعد من أن تكون جريمة في حالات كثيرة. من المهمّ أن نخلق بيئة آمنة، لكل امرأة ترغب لسبب أو لآخر، أن تجهض جنينها. ذلك عوضاً أن تقوم بذلك في عيادات غير مجهزّة، وتعرّض حياتها للخطر. من جهته، وجّه المخرج سالم حدشيتي رسالته حول الإجهاض من خلال فيلمه "نُطفة". بكلمات قليلة ومشاهد إيمائية كثيرة، يرسم هذه الحالة بمختلف مراحلها. هذا وساهم الفيلم في عودة العديد من النساء عن قرارهنّ في الإجهاض.
