About this listen

Diane is a Clinical Professional Counselor Intern and Board Eligible Registered-Dance/Movement Therapist practicing in Las Vegas, NV. She received her masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Dance/Movement Therapy from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. During her career, she has facilitated dance therapy sessions in behavioral healthcare hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, assisted living and memory care facilities, and other community settings. She currently works at a group practice providing individual mental health counseling and dance/movement therapy sessions, and also facilitates virtual dance/movement therapy group sessions for a virtual IOP program. She offers a weekly dance therapy class open to the community at Millennium Dance Complex Las Vegas.


Diane holds a BFA in Modern Dance and a BS in Dance Education. Prior to pursuing a career in mental health, she worked as a dance educator in public high schools and private studios working with students ages 18 months to 18 years old. Her experiences as a dance educator and performer led her to realize the potential that movement has for improving mental health and healing. Diane specializes in working with older adults, individuals living with dementia, caregivers, educators, dancers and other performers, and individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, body image and self-esteem issues.
