On one end it create opportunities to be more considerate in your relationships and helps you to understand your influence on other, good and bad. But on the other hand when placed in too much of an emphasis, especially through lifelong experiences, it can lead to hyper criticism, perfectionism, imposter syndrome, and a fear of failure and success.
