Ti sei mai fermato a guardare un cane in spiaggia? Io no, fino a qualche giorno fa.
Passeggiavo sul bagnasciuga, in un parco naturale che si allunga fino al mare. Sabbia fredda, sole di primavera, e cani ovunque. Alcuni giocavano, altri correvano. Poi lui: un terrier piccolo, muscoloso, concentrato. Scavava. Solo quello.
Si fermava, controllava i dintorni, girava attorno alla sua voragine e tornava giù, con il muso immerso nella sabbia. Non cercava nulla.
