About this listen
There was Cabbage Patch Kids, Ninja Turtles, Buzz and Woody...but all these pale in comparison to the fictional Turbo Man craze of 1996! Join us as we talk about the time Arnold Schwarzenegger spent his Christmas Eve trying to get the hottest toy in town Jingle All the Way.
Synopsis: Workaholic Howard Langston wants to make things up to his wife and son, promising to get the hottest toy of the season, Turbo-Man for his son’s Christmas - As Langston hunts down the elusive gift on Christmas Eve, he competes with a mail man father on the same quest.
We start with a wee discussion about some favourite Christmas movies, and films that are tangentially Christmassy and The Cheeky Girls…yeah really. We then go into the whole plot of the movie and address the fact that no one likes Booster (maybe because his weird gold pants).
